Da-gam bangchu is traditionally used as rice plate and for carrying packed lunch in the rural areas, and also used for gift and snacks container with unique characteristic of being air-tight. It is fabricated by the artisan in the rural areas from bamboo without any colours in Trashigang and Shamgang District.
