Participated in “SEAL of EXCELLENCE” for UNESCO CCI 2005, INDIA
Handicrafts Emporium was participated in “Seal of Excellence” for Handcrafted Products (Silk Scarf and One-Sleeve Raw silk Shawl) in South Asia, which was organized by the Crafts Council of India in 2005. This was the first ever such participation of the Seal of Excellence from Handicrafts Emporium, Bhutan in UNESCO Crafts Council of India.
The outcome was very successful and awarded the “Seal of Excellence” in recognition of demonstrated excellence and standard setting quality in craftsmanship. This is also an encouragement and pride to us to have an expression of cultural identity, traditional artistic value and respect of the environment and society.
